Project Coordinator – HIV STEP-UP

               
                 

Responsibilities:

This position is directly responsible for staffing the Project’s day-to-day operations and facilitating the Grant Action Plan, achieving timely and effective implementation of grant deliverables and fostering the Project and organization’s mission. Responsibilities include:

  • Provides motivational leadership and vision to the Project, working collaboratively to facilitate implementation of the Grant Action Plan
  • Facilitates coordination of activities of all consultants, paid and in-kind, to support Action
  • Facilitates Advisory Council meetings and trainings and the Projects’ organization and participation
  • Facilitates organization of workgroups, implementation of Action Plan strategies and community
  • Fosters engagement of indigenous communities in Project
  • Coordinates with state and local partners and
  • Serves as an ambassador for the Project promoting its vision, mission and
  • Ensures effective grant and budget
  • Provides timely preparation of all management and grant required reports including preparation/submission of written narrative and fiscal progress reports, statistics and reports to
  • Participates in all evaluation
  • Participates in all appropriate community activities, meetings and

 Requirements:

  • Position requires a minimum of a Bachelor level degree (MA preferred) in social work, public health, community planning or related field;
  • Minimum 5 years experience working in HIV prevention/treatment programs
  • Highly effective leadership and community outreach skills; prior experience coordinating with community partners, community development and planning to bring about desired
  • Extensive experience with the field of prevention and environmental
  • Demonstrated ability managing government grants including experience with data-driven, outcome-based planning and reporting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of HIV medical and social impacts to communities
  • Ability to work with diverse populations
  • Excellent budget management skills, ability to work effectively with electronic technologies, data collection and
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, cultural competence and ability to work effectively with youth and adult
