    Custodian

    Title: Custodian
    Reports to: Director of Operations
    Employment Type: Full-time
    Work Location: Miami-Dade
    Salary Range: $15/hr (non-negotiable)

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Conduct general maintenance in all GA offices and sites throughout Miami Dade, Broward, and West Palm counties.
    • Keep offices/sites clean and operational.
    • Keep storage facilities clean and organized.
    • Move products to their final destinations.
    • Assist with all GA events internally or in the community.
    • Help with assembly and move of furniture and equipment.
    • Supervise work performed by outside vendors/companies.
    • Use GA vehicles for approved errands.
    • Inspect GA’s fleet and coordinate service maintenance.
    • Document vehicle mileage and maintenance log daily and monthly.
    • Keep vehicles clean at all times, including arranging for monthly detailing.
    • Notify the Director of Operations of mechanical failure, safety deficiencies, or other incidents.
    • All other duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    • Bilingual preferred (English/Creole or English/Spanish).

    • Reliable personal transportation.

    • Ability to travel between offices/sites within the tri-county area.

    • Pass FDLE Level II criminal background check (fingerprint) and drug screening.

    • Valid Florida Driver’s License.

    • Performing the duties of this position requires the ability to walk, sit, stand, reach, talk, hear, and lift materials, including equipment.
