DESCRIPTION:<a href="https://myga.org/event/give-miami-day-2/">Give Miami Day</a> is one of South Florida’s biggest celebrations of generosity—a moment when nonprofits unite to strengthen our community. It's  a chance to highlight our mission and provide you the opportunity to help fund programs not covered by grants, such as Kid Splash, Youth Splash, and workplace benefits that help sustain our team. GA provides programs and services under our five pillars of work: Positive Youth Development, Family Strengthening, Health & Wellness, Workforce Development, and Community Upliftment & Partnerships. Some examples of the good work our programs provide are: <ul> <li><strong>After-school programs that empower youth to realize their full potential</strong></li> <li><strong>In-home therapy that helps children and their families understand and overcome trauma</strong></li> <li><strong>Programs and services to youth and families impacted by opioid addiction</strong></li> <li><strong>Help people in correctional facilities who are returning to Miami-Dade County prepare for life after release</strong></li> <li><strong>Engage community members in therapy and skill building while uniting local organizations in sharing resources to help reduce violence and trauma in the community.</strong></li> </ul> In 2024, GA impacted 19,930 individuals, and served 1,650 households through after school and summer programs, substance abuse prevention services, parent engagement programs, trauma-focused intervention, coalition-building, reentry services, career development, HIV education, care coordination, wrap-around services mentoring, life skills development, and mental health support services. <a href="https://bit.ly/47mPpYT">Please click here</a> between midnight on Saturday, November 15-11:59pm Thursday, November 20 to help support these vital programs! <img class="aligncenter size-large wp-image-6505" src="https://myga.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/GMD2025_Logo_H-Color_Compressed-1024x545.png" alt="" width="584" height="311" />20251115T000000
