(UPLIFT) Little Haiti Service Partnership provides care coordination and comprehensive case management/wraparound services to youth and families in the Little Haiti community. This includes services to children who are at-risk for experiencing truancy, poor school performance, disruptive behavior, child maltreatment or family violence. The program targets four schools: Miami Edison Senior High, Miami Edison Middle School, Morningside K-8 Center and Jessie McCrary Elementary School. Children and families are referred to place-based service that results in their receipt of coordination services. Eligible students are those who have 10 or more absences, poor school performance, and a history of disruptive behavior or are assessed as being at risk for abuse or neglect. Among other sources, referrals to this program are accepted from Department of Juvenile Justice and Department of Children and Families.
