FREE Youth Mental Health First Aid

Gang Alternative, Inc. is excited to invite you and your team to participate in our free Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA) certification training, an evidence-based course that equips adults with the skills to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges in youth.

YMHFA is ideal for an adults who works or interacts with you including parents, educators, counselors. law enforcement, faith leaders, etc.

• Warning signs of crisis and how to respond
• Strategies for connecting youth to appropriate support
• Building confidence in difficult conversations about mental health
• Participants receive a nationally recognized YMHFA certificate upon completion
