Fabrication Laboratory (FabLab)

FabLab is a community-centered creative space where individuals can learn, design, and build using modern technology and hands-on tools such as 3D printers, laser cutters, robotics, electronics, and digital design software. Our goal is to provide accessible opportunities for people of all ages to explore creativity, problem-solving, innovation, and technical skills in an engaging and supportive environment.

At Gang Alternative, the FabLab aligns closely with our organization’s mission of empowering communities through education, opportunity, and positive youth development. By providing hands-on STEAM programming, we aim to help participants build confidence, discover new interests, and develop real-world skills that can translate into future educational and career opportunities.

People should care about FabLab because we do more than teach technology. We create pathways for growth, connection, and community impact. The FabLab encourages collaboration, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning while giving participants a safe space to turn ideas into meaningful projects and solutions. Through this work, Gang Alternative continues to invest in innovation, creativity, and the long-term success of the communities it serves.

FabLab exists to open accessible, hands-on pathways into creativity, problem-solving, and technical skills.
