CAATS Coalition Meeting

The CAATS Coalition is a cross-sector group that Gang Alternative (GA) brings together to strengthen how South Florida responds to trauma and ongoing stress. It supports GA’s mission to help children, families, and communities build lasting character and resilience.

The coalition brings together leaders in youth-serving groups, parent leaders, schools, behavioral health and trauma providers, hospitals, law enforcement and juvenile justice, faith-based and community organizations, substance use prevention programs, businesses, media partners, neighborhood groups, and government and funding partners.

Priority goes to partners serving communities most affected by violence, overdose, immigration stress, police misconduct, and COVID-19. The focus is on creating trauma-informed training, community events, strong referral pathways, and safe healing spaces that continue beyond this year.

This is a recurring event every 3rd Monday of each month.
