At Gang Alternative, Inc. (GA), we are deeply committed to fostering safe and supportive learning environments for students, educators, and the broader school community. As a recipient of the STOP School Violence Grant, GA has been working tirelessly to address the urgent need for school safety and violence prevention. Our efforts have reached both Broward County and Miami-Dade County, where we have implemented a comprehensive approach to preventing violence in schools, focusing on early intervention, community engagement, and proactive strategies.

Building on our long-standing dedication to addressing school violence through evidence-based curricula focused on ending in-school violence, we have empowered students and educators with the tools and strategies needed to foster peaceful and supportive school environments. Now, through this free webinar, we are expanding our approach by introducing additional strategies to enhance school safety. We will share critical insights, proven strategies, and practical tools, including anonymous reporting technology, behavioral threat assessments, and the development of school-wide action plans. By integrating these new strategies with our existing in-school curricula, GA aims to provide a holistic solution to school violence.

We believe that by equipping schools with the right resources, training, and collaborative strategies, we can significantly reduce the incidence of violence and create environments where students can thrive academically, emotionally, and socially. Join us as we explore these vital topics and work together toward a future where every school is a safe place for learning and growth.
