W3 Parent Engagement Night

Parent Engagement Night for project W3 will focus on bridging the communication gap between parents and their children in the surrounding community, incorporating topics such as healthy communication, healthy relationships (family, friendships, romantic relationships), and planning for the future. This event will be held on the last Wednesday of the month of February, which is not only Black History Month but also Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. We will be doing activities related to teen dating violence in the black community. We will also be completing vision boards, to help the participants get an idea of the overall vision they have for the future of their family, where the parent and child will work together to illustrate the goals they have for their familial unit over the next 5 years.
