Audience: Families & Community

The “Family & Friends Day of Fun, Wellness and Support” aims to create a supportive and empowering environment for individuals facing mental health challenges or co-occurring disorders, along with their families and allies. Our goal is to connect attendees with valuable resources and support systems while fostering a sense of community, well-being, and fun.

 

The event will feature:

 

– Mindfulness and Relaxation: Techniques led by certified instructors.

– Therapy Sessions: Facilitated by licensed professionals.

– Recovery Resources: Assistance with employment, driver’s license/ID, child support, housing, and clothing.

– Food Trucks: Offering FREE selections from different cuisines.

– Entertainment and Games: DJ entertainment and activities for all ages.

– Kids’ Activities: Supervised play and engagement spaces.

– Guest Speakers: Sharing personal stories of recovery and resilience.

– Informational Booths: From local mental health organizations and service providers.
