Security Monitor

Title: Security Monitor
Reports to: Program Manager, GPS
Employment Type: Part-time M- F 2:00 pm- 6:00 pm, Mode of work: In-person (no remote work)
Work Location: Miami- Dade
Salary Range: $15.00/hr (non- negotiable)

Qualifications and Competencies

Bilingual (Creole or Spanish)
Available to work the required program hours
Demonstrated experience working with children in K-8th
Positive response to criminal background check (fingerprint)
Basic Computer skills
Must obtain a Florida Child Care Professional Certificate
Must have access to a licensed, insured personal vehicle at all times during work hours for reliable transportation. Mileage reimbursement will be provided for the use of personal vehicles as part of work-related travel

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Oversee and maintain security of the front desk area to ensure a welcoming and safe environment.
Promptly inform staff when parents or guardians arrive for student pick-up.
Assist parents with the sign-out process, ensuring smooth and accurate documentation.
Lock and secure the facility at the end of the day, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
Perform other Duties as necessary
